Fuller Craft Museum
I have six hours every week where both boys are in school. I usually spend this time doing grocery shopping or running other errands since it's easier to do these things with only Iris in tow. But with less than 3 months left in Boston I decided I needed to step up on visiting the places I'd still like to see.
Yesterday Iris and I went to the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton. What a great museum! If you live in the Boston area you should not miss the current exhibition, Trashformations East. (It will be there until May 1) If you make it to the show look for a couple of my favorite pieces: a wall hanging made from yarn and cd jewel cases and a park bench made from soldered wrenches.
I also want to mention that the museum, itself and the grounds are beautiful. You would never know that you are just down the street from a Wal-Mart.

Hi Julee,
I am the one you left a comment asking for my homeschool blog on my emergingcrone blog. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I posted a reply to you at the blog.
Thanks for leaving your URL. I love your website. I enjoyed your last post about the museum. I am in Las Vegas and we do not have a really good museum here at a reasonable price. I am from Cinti Oh and miss the art museum there. It was great. I especially liked the park benches made of wrenches you shared about. Very cool. My sons both play ice hockey and there is a gentleman that makes furniture out of old, used hockey sticks. Interesting how creative people can be. Your daughter is absolutely precious. It was fun "visiting" with you.
