Shoes
I never thought someone so small could have such a strong opinion about shoes. Iris will have a throw herself down on the floor, arch her back with a shrill scream tantrum if I even attempt to put on the "wrong" shoes. Usually the shoe of choice is a sparkly Strawberry Shortcake mary jane. Her other choice is a pink ballet style shoe that her friend Gaelyn gave her. She just doesn't understand that if she's wearing red tights that she really should wear her black shoes and her sneakers are more appropriate with her warm up suit.

Oh my. The things I have to look forward to. I'm still enjoying dressing my baby girl and her not protesting her mama's choices in clothing!

i had a taste of that when i was visiting a friend who had a 4 year old and she dictated which shoes she wanted to wear too..as well as which t-shirt and jeans :)
