National Parks

I managed to remember my National Parks Passport for once and got it stamped while we were at the National Seashore. I was looking through the list of places for cancellations and I could just kick myself for all the times I forgot to bring it along. I probably have missed out out on about 10 stamps in the past few years.

Hey Julee,

Josh and I ar both jealous. The seashore even in winter? Lucky you. Josh wants to be either a marine biologist or a naturalist when he grows up (that is if this painting bug doesn't take over lol) so he thought it was so cool you went there. We just spent a day at Death Valley this weekend and the wildflowers were spectacular. Amazing beauty in such a desolate place. The snow-capped mountains were breathtaking against the backdrop of the salt bed lakes too. I had to laugh thinking it would be good to get back to Las Vegas and cool down. Not a thought I usually have when visiting other places. I wish I had known about the park pass thing. Shoot. I'll have to ask about that next time we get to one of the parks. Josh is a fiend for hiking and the National Parks. Thanks for sharing about it so we'll know next time.

I loved your 100 things about yourself. Great stuff!

I found your homeschool blog too. I would love to link it to mine if that's ok. I remember first starting years ago. Lots of adventure since then. Glad your enjoying our blog and really appreciate your comments. I didn't even think anyone was reading it lol.
