Cod and Potatoes

It's time I broadened my cooking horizons. I used to really enjoy trying new recipes but for the past 3 or 4 years I have relied on making the same dinners over and over. Do you think it has to do with having small children?

Anyway, I subscribe to a couple of cooking magazines and I have resolved to try at least two recipes out of each one every month. All it takes is a little planning and organization.

Last night I made baked cod and potatoes with horseradish cream sauce and it was really good. I was taking a risk because Eric isn't much of a fish or potato person but he really liked it too.

I applaud your courage, but cod with horseradish? I am so glad there are people out there who would eat it, because it is never going near me. But you can see from my attitude how often I venture into the cookbooks I own, lol! Unless I have tasted it before I suck at making new recipes. Hmm, another resolution to take up!

ooo my david has to eat more fish and i LOVE fish, so that's a great recipe to add to my collection of fish-that-non-fish-eating-people-will-eat :)
