How Does Your Garden Grow?

I was actually very busy during my internet vacation. We spent a week in Kansas City, made various local day trips and completely revamped our backyard. I had planted a garden once before but it was quickly abandoned after I became pregnant with Theo, as first trimesters aren't conducive to such things.

Eric and I have put a lot of time and energy into it and we love it. There is something so satisfying about watching your plants grow. The gratification is considerably more immediate than raising children. Not to mention stepping out your back door and cutting some of your own arugula or parsley for dinner!

I plan on boring you throughout the summer with updates of my flowers and veggies.

Very nice... you should check with Dr. Charles (link on my blog) about entering his tomato growing contest!

You're garden is fabulous. I need to get pics of mine up. They are not as lush looking as yours, but we're having a drought, so what can you do? Thanks for sharing. Your herbs look divine!!

Jason bought me an herb garden for Mother's Day. It is still alive, though it is still in the little plastic bins in came in. I suck.

What a lovely garden! Looking forward to more pictures. Someday I hope to finally start a real garden, the not getting pregnant will definitely help in that department.
